5 Reasons Why I Love my Husband

1.       He is a COMEDIAN
Michael and I met in 7th grade. He has been making me smile and laugh like no other person ever could since the beginning. This is very important to me. I always say Michael is the fun one in our relationship and I am the serious one. He brings so much joy and laughter into my life. I am so grateful for his special way to always bring a smile to my face.

2.       He is a good LISTENER
He quickly figured out that sometimes all I want to do is talk and vent and don’t necessarily need a solution to the issue at hand. He listens to all my dreams, problems, and little stories that happen  throughout the day. I am sure he gets tired of listening to me because boy can I talk, but he never acts like it. I am so thankful he is willing and caring enough to listen to me when I need his thoughts, advice, or just his ear. I love him so much.

3.       He is my SUPPORTER
I am constantly torn between my dreams and being realistic. Michael is so great about being supportive of what I want to do with my life. He not only supports our family financially, but he supports my hopes and dreams. This is also so important to me. He believes in me and my abilities. Sometimes he believes in me even when I do not believe in myself. I need his encouragement, and he gladly gives it. I am so appreciative of his constant support of me mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally.

4.       He is my PROVIDER
I realize that supporter and provider are similar. I just needed an entire number to say I am so thankful for his hard work. His job is very demanding and often follows him home and keeps him busy on the weekends. He is the Athletic Director of a local school, and there is always some problem for him to fix or event for him to organize. He is very dedicated to his job even when he is totally exhausted. I am so proud of all his hard work especially when I lost my job in May. Praise the Lord I start a new job next week in April. He provides a comfortable life for me and I am so grateful. While he works so hard he still comes home and knows how to make me feel special. He does so much for our little family. Even after a long day at work, he will come home and play with our rambunctious puppy. Watching the two of them together truly melts me heart. I am so in love with this man.

5.       He LOVES me for me
This one is pretty self-explanatory. We have known each other for 14 years and been a couple for 9 years. We know each other fairly well. He knows my flaws and my good attributes. He has seen me at my best and my worst. No matter what he still loves me. He loves me for who I am. Michael is the best guy for me. I am so thankful that he chose me. I love going through life by his side.

INFJ

Have you discovered your Myers-Brigg Type Indicator? There is an online test. It is amazing. Lately I have been really reflective and trying to decide what I should do with my life. I sometimes wonder if I chose teaching because it is practical. While on this journey to finding myself, I discovered my MBTI. I am an INFJ. That means I am an Introverted iNtuitive Feeling Judging. As I read about this type, my eyes widened in amazement. It perfectly describes. This has lead to some different career options for me to explore. I am excited about the future. Here are a couple sites:
 http://www.typelogic.com/infj.html

https://www.personalitypage.com/INFJ.html

Here are some quotes:
"INFJs have a knack for fluency in language and facility in communication. In addition, nonverbal sensitivity enables the INFJ to know and be known by others intimately.
Writing, counseling, public service and even politics are areas where INFJs frequently find their niche."

"INFJs are distinguished by both their complexity of character and the unusual range and depth of their talents. Strongly humanitarian in outlook, INFJs tend to be idealists, and because of their J preference for closure and completion, they are generally "doers" as well as dreamers. This rare combination of vision and practicality often results in INFJs taking a disproportionate amount of responsibility in the various causes to which so many of them seem to be drawn."

"INFJs are deeply concerned about their relations with individuals as well as the state of humanity at large. They are, in fact, sometimes mistaken for extroverts because they appear so outgoing and are so genuinely interested in people -- a product of the Feeling function they most readily show to the world. On the contrary, INFJs are true introverts, who can only be emotionally intimate and fulfilled with a chosen few from among their long-term friends, family, or obvious "soul mates.""

"While instinctively courting the personal and organizational demands continually made upon them by others, at intervals INFJs will suddenly withdraw into themselves, sometimes shutting out even their intimates. This apparent paradox is a necessary escape valve for them, providing both time to rebuild their depleted resources and a filter to prevent the emotional overload to which they are so susceptible as inherent "givers.""

"INFJs are gentle, caring, complex and highly intuitive individuals. Artistic and creative, they live in a world of hidden meanings and possibilities. Only one percent of the population has an INFJ Personality Type, making it the most rare of all the types."

"INFJs place great importance on having things orderly and systematic in their outer world. They put a lot of energy into identifying the best system for getting things done, and constantly define and re-define the priorities in their lives. On the other hand, INFJs operate within themselves on an intuitive basis which is entirely spontaneous. They know things intuitively, without being able to pinpoint why, and without detailed knowledge of the subject at hand. They are usually right, and they usually know it. Consequently, INFJs put a tremendous amount of faith into their instincts and intuitions. This is something of a conflict between the inner and outer worlds, and may result in the INFJ not being as organized as other Judging types tend to be. Or we may see some signs of disarray in an otherwise orderly tendency, such as a consistently messy desk. "

"They are deep, complex individuals, who are quite private and typically difficult to understand. INFJs hold back part of themselves, and can be secretive.
But the INFJ is as genuinely warm as they are complex. INFJs hold a special place in the heart of people who they are close to, who are able to see their special gifts and depth of caring."

"INFJs are concerned for people's feelings, and try to be gentle to avoid hurting anyone. They are very sensitive to conflict, and cannot tolerate it very well. Situations which are charged with conflict may drive the normally peaceful INFJ into a state of agitation or charged anger. They may tend to internalize conflict into their bodies, and experience health problems when under a lot of stress.
Because the INFJ has such strong intuitive capabilities, they trust their own instincts above all else. This may result in an INFJ stubborness and tendency to ignore other people's opinions. They believe that they're right. On the other hand, INFJ is a perfectionist who doubts that they are living up to their full potential. INFJs are rarely at complete peace with themselves - there's always something else they should be doing to improve themselves and the world around them. They believe in constant growth, and don't often take time to revel in their accomplishments. They have strong value systems, and need to live their lives in accordance with what they feel is right."

It says my type is rare. Maybe that's why I have always felt so different. I encourage you to also discover your MBTI!

Woohoo! It's Friday! I am so happy it's the weekend!!! I am going to get to visit with my grandparents, watch some basketball with my husband, walk my puppy, get my nails done, and relax!!!!! I am so excited it's the weekend. Since I am wanting to get a pedicure, I have to decide on a color. For my 5 things, I am going to share 5 awesome colors. I am having a difficult time deciding which color to choose. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to comment!!! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!

1. I absolutely LOVE this shade of green.
One of our wedding colors was
jade green, and I think it's beautiful.

2. I like the second one as a neutral option.

3. I love PINK nails!! They are so
perfect for SPRING!! This
shade is so pretty!

4. I also like option
number 4. It is very
soft and feminine.

5. Purple is one of my all
time favorite colors, and this
shade is totally awesome!

Now I just have to decide!

Maggie

Maggie
The reason I have been away from my blog is mostly because of this sweet little puppy. My husband and I adopted her in December, and life has been a little crazy since that day. I love her so very much, but she can be a little unruly. This is why I am excited to announce that we are starting our precious Maggie in a puppy training class on Sunday. I can't wait! I really hope it works. She knows how to drive me crazy in one minute and the next minute melt my heart with her sweetness. She truly is my baby. I love her and want her to be the best dog she can be. She is so cute, and I am excited to come home to her everyday! I really hope these puppy classes will help her to be more obedient. If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to comment. She is a Beagle mix. She acts much like a typical Beagle. In some ways that is great, and in others not so great. My husband and I love her so much; she has truly captured our hearts. I do plan to be posting more as life as finally started to calm down. It is a beautiful spring day in Alabama, and Maggie is looking forward to many more spring days filled with lots of walks. I never knew I could love an animal so much! She is just so precious!! I look forward to making many more wonderful memories with her.
